Rattle and Hum @ The Academy Fri 18/07/08
Rattle and Hum headlined the Academy on Friday 18th July, with support coming from Baby Jenx . Rattle and Hum are simply a great U2 tribute band, they look and sound the part. If you are a U2 fan, you should check these guys out.
Baby Jenx at the Academy Friday 18/07/08
Photographed Baby Jenx at the Academy for the second time. This time they were supporting Rattle and Hum Baby Jenx are currently recording their debut album which is due for release later this Summer. You can catch the boys again at the Cherry Tree, Walkinstown on Friday 8th August. Go see them.
The Minutes at the "Fighting Blindness" Charity Gig
Fighting Blindness funds research into cures and preventions into different types of blindness. You can find more about this worthy cause at their website www.fightingblindness.ie They staged a fundraiser in the Button Factory on Thursday 3rd July featuring four great Irish bands: Dark Room Notes, DC Tempest, The Amazing Few and The Minutes.
