Radio City was the venue for the Stragler's single launch of "Commanders". Support on the night was provided by Stagger Lee. You can download the single here or by texting music 630 to 57501. They are on MySpace at www.myspace.com/straglers . This year looks set to be a busy one for the Straglers , with their debut album scheduled for an early release in 2008.

I was looking forward to this gig, having seen James & Band in August of last year. This occasion marked the release of their single "In Light" at the Crawdaddy on Thursday 17th January. Support on the night was provided by Carla Brunell, Asha and Gina Moore. There was a good turnout for the nite and the band were in great form. It was obvious to everyone that they were enjoying themselves. The last act to hit the stage that night were Albyno Rhino. To hear their current crop of songs drop by their MySpace The indie 4 piece intend to record their latest material in Grouselodge Studio before February and hope to have fresh recordings available in Spring 2008.            

The fourth act to hit the stage was a band called Changing Gears . Check out the guitar riff on "Almost in Love" on their MySpace Player on www.myspace.com/changinggearsmusic Their next gig is in Thomas Reeds on the 9th January.       &nbsp &nbsp

Tuesday 18th Dec saw five acts line up in the Voodoo Lounge. The nite was organised by Marc from www.myspace.com/dublinunderground Ronan Quigley opened the show, followed by the Bolger Brothers, Rob O'Connor, Changing Gears and Albyno Rhino headlined the event.
