The last photo gives it away.  Belfast on a sunny afternoon with my 50mm 1.8.  Its a terrific lense and very light and compact to carry around.  Makes you work on your feet instead of relying on the zoom lense.

Update on FREE Photo Shoot competition (live or promo) in conjunction with LetsShoot and Music Review Unsigned. Fans of Hail to Fairwell , The Fibbs and The Stutts are all polling heavily so far. If you want your band to win, simply like the LetsShoot Facebook page www.artist.to/letsshoot   and get your fans to like it too. Then ask your fans to post a comment on the wall with the name of the band. The band/act that has the most names on it by the 31st January is the winner.

http://www.letsshoot.ie/ in conjunction with http://www.musicreviewunsigned.com/ is offering a free photo shoot for musicians: PRIZE: Siobhan Quigley from Lets Shoot Photography will come to a live gig and take pictures OR shoot promo photos on location (Dublin only). It's up to the band/solo act to choose which would be more beneficial. The winning act will get a CD of the shots, minimum 15 pictures and two sets of shots, one for print media and the other for social media. Siobhan has worked for press for over two years shooting local and community events and is currently working for the Gazette Group Newspapers.
